For Service Providers
What sort of services am I able to list on Hubmaier?
You may list any personal, professional or business service on Hubmaier, providing it is legal and ethical for you to do so, and subject to our approval. As the service provider, you are fully responsible for providing listed services in accordance with the law.
How much does it cost to list services through Hubmaier?
Currently, there is no sign-up fee or no ongoing monthly commission. We retain 12.5% commission of the amount charged to the client. Hubmaier covers the upfront paypal or transaction fees to receive the funds from the client. We won’t charge you extra for disbursement.
How do you pay me?
We can pay you via Paypal or bank transfer. Typically, we use Paypal for smaller payouts, and bank transfers for larger payouts.
If the service costs over 250 GBP, we will hold back two-thirds of the amount over 250 GBP until after the service has been provided. This is for consumer protection in the event of non-fulfilment or under-fulfilment.
How do I sign up?
It’s easy to sign up! Fill in the short sign-up form via the following link: www.hubmaier.com/provide-services.
How do I log in?
You can log in under ‘Login’ via the following link: www.hubmaier.com/account.
What are variable services?
Variable services are a service type that lets you offer a set of variations on a service, with control over prices, image and more for each variation. So, for example, a window cleaning company, in addition to a basic fee, might charge a supplement based on the number of windows needing washed.
What if there are too many variables and I can’t determine the price of the service upfront?
On Hubmaier, we strongly encourage service providers to make their prices known upfront. This drives transparency and trust in the service and service provider, boosting sales in return. However, if for whatever reason it is too difficult to algorithmize your prices through the website, you can leave the price field empty and it will show as ‘POA’ (price on application) on the frontend. Prospective clients can still find you through the website and contact you to arrange for the provision of the service directly.
My client wants to pay by cash. How do I pay you?
Where a client pays you in cash, we will invoice you for 12.5% of the transaction cost.
My client never followed through on the transaction. Do I owe you any money?
No. In this instance, you should write to support (at) hubmaier.com, informing us of the client’s failure to turn up, and we will cancel the order. In the instance of repeated such notifications, we reserve the right to revoke your ability to accept cash transactions through the Hubmaier platform.
